Natalie and Olivia share their homemade prayer journals.

Praying is so important, but it's so easy to neglect prayer time. The Bible mentions "pray," "prayer," "praying," or "prays" 375 times. Today, we are making prayer journals to help keep us on the right track and stay focused on Christ.

Here's a few of our favorite scriptures about prayer:

"Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you." 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

"Look to the Lord and his strength; seek his face always." 1 Chronicles 16:11

"If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land." 2 Chronicles 7:14

"And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people." Ephesians 6:18

"Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you." Jeremiah 29:12

My health journey was a 25-year battle of dieting, losing weight, gaining weight, binge eating, sugar addictions and always feeling that I had to drop more weight before I could go live my life.
